Interchangeability – the devices of this BUS are using so-called EEP (EnOcean Equipment Profiles). If all manufacturers adhere to this, an exchange is possible. However, there are also manufacturer-specific profiles. If the individual description is available, it can still be integrated, which, however, requires special knowledge. All manufacturers mainly use basic modules that only a few companies are producing for the mass. Each module has its own device ID.
